


This is an interesting Kingston excursion that takes you back into the rich history of the colourful days of the buccaneers. Enjoy a traditional fish lunch at the local street side restaurant, which is one of the insider tips in Jamaica. Visit Devon House one of the many preserved historic mansions in Jamaica that depicts the glory of days gone by. This house was built in 1881 by George Siebel , a wealthy Jamaican who became one of the first black millionaires in the Caribbean.
Itinerary
8.00 Depart for Kingston. This is a long but interesting day. To avoid the rush hour, we recommend that you start early at so that you get into Kingston and meet your guide at Devon House by 10.00. We can arrange a packed breakfast for you so that you do not have to rush in the morning.
10.00 Tour begins at Devon House. Depending on your interests the tour itinerary will be tailored specially for you. You can indicate if you are interested in music and would like to visit the Tuff Gong Studios or perhaps you would like to focus on historical architecture, churches or art. The tour also varies depending on the day of the week so on Fridays a visit to the Synagogue is not possible.
Generally the tour includes a visit to Port Royal where you enjoy a traditional lunch at a street side fish restaurant before returning back at the hotel between 19.30-20.00
Recommended: You will be provided with refreshments but it is still advisable to take some drinking water with you. The package price includes the cost of transportation, the guide and all entrance fees as well as lunch. You will only need money for purchasing any souvenirs or additional items.
